What is the NTIA TV Converter Box $40 Coupon Program?
Under the DTV Transition Law, Congress set aside up to $1.5B to fund a program administered by the Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA).
Each U.S. household can apply for up to two $40 coupons that can be used at participating retailers towards the purchase of coupon-eligible TV converter boxes that will allow you to continue watching FREE over-the air TV programming on an analog television.

The coupons cannot be combined to purchase a single product or to pay for sales tax or shipping. Each coupon will expire 90 days from the date of issuance. The deadline to apply is March 31, 2009.
